Stategic Resizing (Downsizing) and Restructuring
Benchmarking Association(SRRBA™)

seeks to involve and bring together companies that are seeking the best way to implement resizing (downsizing) or restructuring of a corporation. SRRBA™ conducts benchmarking studies to identify practices that improve the overall operations of the members.

SRRBA™ Mission
To identify "Best in Class" strategic resizing (downsizing) and restructuring management processes, which, when implemented, will lead member companies to exceptional performance.

SRRBA™ Objectives

  1. To conduct benchmarking studies of important strategic resizing and restructuring
    processes.

  2. To create a cooperative environment where full understanding of the performance and enablers of "best in class"strategic resizing and restructuring processes can be obtained and shared at reasonable cost.

  3. To use the efficiency of the association to obtain process performancedata and related best practices regarding strategic resizing and restructuring.

  4. To support the use of benchmarking to facilitate continuing and breakthrough process improvements and the achievement of accuracy, timeliness and efficiency.

SRRBA™ Membership

The scope of SRRBA™ membership includes those organizations that require a more detailed understanding of strategic resizing and restructuring in support of their core business(es).

Company membership will be considered with respect to compliance with SRRBA™ mission, goals and operating guidelines, as well as qualification of the organization within the scope of membership.

Participation in specific efforts will be optional and open only to members with costs shared by the participants.

Companies in the consulting industry and others likely to resell the data are not considered for membership

Benefits of Membership

SRRBA™ Paid Studies:
SRRBA™ will identify and present to members opportunities to participate in Benchmarking studies on various topics addressing issues of importance in the areas of senior executive leadership, operations, administration, human resources, and budgeting, forecasting and planning.

There are two types of Benchmarking studies provided:

  • Association studies are offered to the membership as a whole with costs divided.
  • Single company sponsored studies addressing the interest of one member company can be offered to other selected members for no fee.

The association will also support strategic resizing and restructuring benchmarking efforts through:

  • Research - Access public and private databases.
  • Identify study participants - Top companies in a variety of industries
  • Collect data - Manage response collection with the participants as a third party.
  • Lead site visits - Structured with best participants.

Roundtables:
Interest group roundtables will be organized throughout the year. Members will pay a nominal fee to join real and virtual roundtable discussions that address specific processes.

Cost:
Currently, membership in SRRBA™ is FREE! Costs of studies are shared by the participants.
